what is a birth chart?

Ancient philosophers believed that the soul passes through each of the seven spheres, otherwise known as the seven traditional planets, to pass the gateway of materiality to be born. According to their unique position in the sky at the time of birth, each of the seven spheres imprints the soul with its particular allotments, and the thread of each life joins the spindle that weaves the infinite mandala of the universe.

The birth chart is a moving picture of the cosmos at the time of your birth that evolves just as you do. The Ancients saw the planets as the heavenly writings of the gods, and the birth chart as a living, breathing cosmic script in which you, your life and your soul are its muse.
